A Lack Of Sleep Might Be Making You Fat
If you’re looking to lose weight and not dropping it as quickly as you’d like, would you like to know the one thing you’re not doing that’s making it literally impossible to lose fat?
What’s worse is that the more you try to do all of the “right things” you’ve been told you have to do, the more impossible losing fat becomes?
You thought it would be as simple as “move more and eat less”, but that’s not working for you and you’re feeling increasingly frustrated, and almost ready to give up.
Because I am about to let you in on a dirty little secret most gyms don’t want you to know. This secret is so rarely talked about because it doesn’t sound sexy, it flies in the face of most people’s “do more culture”, and it will almost make you feel lazy.
But when you establish this “secret”, the pounds literally start flying off, your clothes actually fit again, and even better you’ll have much more energy to get through your day.
Do you want to know what this secret is?
I’ll show you exactly what it is in a minute. But first, a disclaimer.
Please understand I’m not saying you can sit around all day and lose weight. You can’t eat whatever you want and get fit. But with this secret hormone working to your advantage, it will almost feel like it compared to the effort you’re putting forth for nothing in return as of now.
Also, what I am about to tell you might fly in the face of what you’ve read in the past. If you are the type of person who knows it all and is afraid to try something new, I can’t help you. But if you’re the type of person who is willing to change your beliefs and try something new so you can finally lose weight and have more confidence, keep reading.
If everything the “experts” say is true, we’d all be in a lot better shape, right?
So with that being said, please let me share this secret hormone with you.
It’s the one that’s screwing up your best efforts and making it nearly impossible to lose weight.
It’s called cortisol, and when we have too much of it it’s literally impossible to lose fat, and in fact, it’s actually easier to gain fat and lose muscle when cortisol is around.
And if you’re working out and not seeing progress, it’s probably due to too much cortisol.
A lack of sleep is one of the biggest causes of high cortisol. I have had clients, who all we did was get them more sleep, and they instantly went from stressed out, tired, and not losing weight and finally felt refreshed and fitting back into their jeans again.
The other thing that increases your cortisol is too much cardio.
Yep, I am saying cardio is actually preventing you from losing weight. Who woulda thunk it, right? (Remember when I said you’re going to have to check your beliefs and forget what you’ve been told?
So ok, you need more sleep and cardio is “bad.”
You’re probably thinking “when is this guy going to tell me what the “secret” is to losing fat without cardio, while still feeling energized?
